DePaul’s transition to remote work during COVID-19 was quick and seamless, thanks to the hard work of our director of support services, finance team members, and our outside IT vendor, NCG.
“Our organization provides services that are far beyond amazing,” said Eyvette Evans, director of support services. “I am not on the frontline of being able to make the difference in the same way they do; however, what I can do is support their technology needs and assist them in any way I can.”
Keeping DePaul’s IT infrastructure needs on the forefront while providing a safe and secure IT environment require communication, dedication, collaboration, and flexibility. Many hours spent problem-solving led DePaul staff to a new way of working that is still fully functional and still able to meet the needs of the populations we love and serve.
“While this transition was fast and challenging, staff members handled it with a positive attitude and have had patience with NCG and I as we work towards the best IT solutions for them,” said Evans.
Evans said NCG was critical in the remote work process. She said without their ability to get the systems set up and functioning across the organization, DePaul would not have been able to move to the remote work environment as seamlessly as it did.
